Here is a fun and super simple little card design!I started out wanting to create a more masculine style card and ended up with a card that would be fitting for a young child. My husband feels the zebra image is what makes this card more suitable for a child. And…he just wanted me to know that he would not want a zebra card for his birthday. Haha! 🙂
To make this card, start with a piece of smoky slate cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/2 x 2 inch piece of Modern Medley designer series paper (DSP) and secure it to the left side of your card base. Cut a 5 1/2 x 1 inch piece of silver glimmer paper and secure it over the top of the Modern Medley DSP. Cut a 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and a 3 x 3 inch piece of basic black. Stamp the zebra image from the Zoo Review stamp set using basic black ink. Stamp a little sentiment above the zebra using smoky slate ink. Matte out your stamped images with the 3 x 3 black piece. Adhere to the card with dimensionals. Then embellish with your favorite brads or candy dots. Super simple! And…you can make this a more masculine card, just change out the stamped image! Enjoy!
