Spiral Flower Die

Today I want to show you a simple way to make beautiful paper flowers using Stampin’ Up!’s new spiral flower die!  Well…actually…I’m not going to demonstrate it but Stampin’ Up! has a great video that will give you step by step instructions on how to use their spiral flower die. It’s super simple and the flower are just gorgeous! You can check it out by visiting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNmnSTl8LBM

So are you wondering what I made with all of these beautiful red roses? Well…check out this beautiful gift bag!  I made several gift bags to give to members of my team as part of a swap we were doing.  They are super simple to make. I used the chevron bags found in the annual Stampin’ Up! catalog. I simply stamped some gorgeous grunge images on the bag using baked brown sugar ink and added a little “smile” sentiment on the bottom using cherry cobbler ink.

The top of the bag is decorated with a little paper doily folded over the top, the beautiful red rose mounted on a few scrap pieces of designer paper and cardstock punched out with various scalloped circle punches, and a bit of ribbon dangling from underneath everything.  Oh…for the final touch…I added a little gold clothes pin to keep the bag closed. 🙂
