Happy Monday Everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today I want to share a little project I created with the hexagon hive framelit die. I decided to purchase the die after seeing a variety of beautiful creations with it! 🙂
To make this card, start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of soft sky cardstock and run it through the big shot with the hexagon hive framelit. And here’s a little tip about using the framelit…lay your cardstock down on the bigshot first, then a piece of wax paper and then place the framelit ontop. When run this through your bigshot embossing machine, the wax paper will help the hexagon piece pop out of the framelit very easily! It is a super tip that was shared with me by a fellow stamper…and it works beautifully! Once you have the hexagon piece, cut out a piece of the Sale-a-bration designer paper (the blue flowery piece) just big enough to fit behind the hexagon piece. Then embellish the card with a little paper doily and the beautiful flower image from the Happy Watercolor set. Enjoy!
