Happy Friday Everyone! Today I want to share another great Easter card design with all of you! This card was inspired by a beautiful swap I received from Diana Tillery.
To make this card, start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for your base. Cut a 4 3/4 x 4 inch piece of strawberry slush cardstock for your background. Take a piece of pistachio pudding cardstock and run it through the big shot with the “On film” framelit to cut out the pistachio pudding frame as shown in the picture. Cut a 3 1/2 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock…this is the piece you will do your stamping on.
Grab the following ink pad colors: Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, and So Saffron. Stamp the summer silhoutte images onto your smaller piece of whisper white cardstock using these colors. The leaves and little flowers are some of the images you will find in the set. Stamp a large sentiment, using strawberry slush ink, towards the top of the cardstock overlapping a bit onto your leaf images. Once you have all of the images stamped on the white piece adhere the “frame,” you cut out earlier, over the top. Stamp a few butterflies, using So Saffron ink, punch them out and adhere to your card with dimensionals. Add few pearls and some bits of a paper doily to embellish! Beautiful card! Thanks so much for sharing the ideas with us Diana!
