Paper Pumpkin Project #5 ~ In the Bag

Here is the final project I put together with the February Paper Pumpkin kit!  If you have been following along then you know this is project #5!  Yep, there were 5 heavy duty gift bags in last month’s kit…and I loved decorating them!  I can’t wait to see what we get this month!

So…for this project I decided to use a bunch of products that I had on hand.  The only items I used from the kit were the alphabet letters, the bag and the ribbon (which serve as the handles for the bag).  So that means I have a bunch of supplies leftover to make….hmmmm…more fun stuff!  Anyways, getting back to the bag…I decided to stamp the background design (the one with the flowers on it) using one of the images in the Everything Eleanor stamp set. The apothecary accent in the middle is from the layered labels stamp set….stamped in soft suede on very vanilla cardstock.

All of the beautiful flowers and butterflies come from the Petite Petals and Papillion Potpourri stamp sets…and of course there are coordinating punches for those images!  The colors used on the flowers and butterflies were so saffron and blushing bride. Then I simply embellished everything with pearls!

I hope you enjoyed the little Paper Pumpkin series!  If you are interested in getting started in stamping or you are just looking for different ideas, I highly encourage you to try the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit program. From now until March 31, 2014, NEW subscribers will receive a FREE set of stampin’ markers in your first kit! Visit http://bit.ly/YZn5ml for more information!
