At our demonstrator meeting this month, we were challenged to create projects with the new Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper (DSP). If you have seen the patterns in the Kaleidoscope DSP you probably recognize how challenging this was! The patterns are BIG and BOLD! I have to tell you that this was probably one of my favorite challenges and I actually really like the new DSP now that I have had a chance to play with it! I actually put together 4 different card designs with just 2 small pieces of DSP! I will share these creations with you over the next couple of days.
To make this card, start with a piece of bermuda bay cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Stamp your favorite sentiment on the lower right hand side of the cardstock using bermuda bay ink. Take a few pieces of he kaleidoscope DSP and cut them to 2 x 4 inches and 1 1/2 x 3 inches…layer them on the card as shown. Then cut a few smaller banners with some scrap pieces of cardstock that coordinate with the colors in your DSP. Super simple and quick little card that you can put together in a jiffy!
