This is one of the cards we are making at class this morning! This card was inspired by a swap I received from Colleen Magness at the Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference in January! A simply gorgeous creation Colleen and I am sure the ladies will love it!
To make this card, I started with a piece of very vanilla cardstock for the base…Colleen used rich razzleberry for the base of the card. I cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of rich razzleberry and a 5 x 3/4 inch piece of very vanilla cardstock. All of your stamping will be on the very vanilla piece. Start by stamping the En Francais words in the upper and lower part of the cardstock using rich razzleberry ink. Stamp a few flowers as well…I used the flower shop stamp set. Take the tree from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set and randomly stamp this image using old olive ink then sponge a bit of ink on the outer parts of the cardstock working your way towards the middle. Stamp the butterfly using black stazon ink, sponge some rich razzleberry on it and punch it out. Secure the butterfly to the card with dimensionals. Beautiful card! Thanks for sharing it with us Colleen!
