Earlier this week I showcased the ink pad dragging technique on a masculine style card. Today, I want to show you how you can use this technique to make a beautiful girlie style card! 🙂 I love the colors and flowers…yes, I am thinking spring already!
To make this card, start with a piece of crisp cantaloupe cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. We will use 3 different colors: coastal cabana, daffodil delight and crisp cantaloupe. Start by inking up the Ex Libris stamp with coastal cabana…stamp the image on the white cardstock. Next, grab the daffodil delight (yellow) color, place the pad upside down and drag the yellow color in random places over the top of the Ex Libris image. Repeat this process with the crisp cantaloupe until you achieve the desired look. Then just embellish your card with a bit of twine or ribbon, some of those petite petals and a little sentiment stamped on a decorative label! One of the favorites last night at class! What do you think?
