Afternoon Picnic ~ Tag a Bag

As many of you know, I attend the 2014 Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference last week in Houston, Texas!  Fun times…and, of course, lots of awesome ideas!!  Prior to heading out to Houston, I put together a few little gifts for my roomie and my group of stampin’ friends that we were traveling with! This was the little gift I gave them filled with candy!

The little chevron bags in the Annual Catalog are my favorite little non-card related item to play with!  There are just soooo many possibilities with these!  To make this adorable little bag I simply folded over the top and glued on a little paper doily. I cut 2 different pieces of the Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper and made them into pennants…the pieces were cut to 1 x 4 inches and 1 x 3 inches.  The thank you tag is actually an image from the Tea party stamp set…I stamped it in Coastal Cabana and punched out the image with the extra large tag punch. I stamped the pitcher of flowers in wisteria wonder ink on the lower right hand side of the bag. Of course I also had to use the Papillon Potpourri stamp set to add a little butterfly image. The bags turned out beautiful! Check out the tag a bag bundle at http://bit.ly/19GujSK
