It’s day 2 of the Leadership convention and we are having a blast! As promised…I wanted to share some of the cards I put together to swap with my stampin’ buds here at the convention. This seems to be a very popular card! I hope you enjoy it too! And, of course, I have received some awesome swaps in return…which I will share with you later! 🙂
To make this card, start with a piece of coastal cabana cardstock for the base of your card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white…this is the piece you will do your stamping on. Stamp 3 big watercolor blotches, from the Happy Watercolor stamp set, using coastal cabana ink. Stamp the flower over the top of those blotches using baked brown sugar ink…and then stamp one of the sentiments in the upper right hand corner. I also decided to add some butterfly images stamped from the papillion potpourri stamp set. I stamped out the butterfly images in baked brown sugar and then sponged some so safron and crisp cantaloupe ink on them…then just punched them out with the coordinating punches. For the final touches…I added a few pearls and some dazzling details glitter.
