The new Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog has some simply amazing product suites! May favorite is the Watercolor Wonder product suite…it’s the soft colors that get me! This is one of the projects I had the ladies put together at my New Catalog Open House yesterday…of course it was everyone’s favorite!
To make this card, start out with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of smoky slate and emboss it with the new scallop textured embossing folder. Make sure you only emboss about 3/4’s of the smoky slate cardstock…leave some room at the top to stamp your sentiment. Cut a 1 x 4 inch piece of the beautiful watercolor wonder designer series paper….outline it with some white scalloped dots punched out of a 1 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock. Add a bit of chevron ribbon…I ran a piece of white taffeta ribbon down the center of the chevron for a little added touch. Stamp some of the petite petals in pear pizazz and island indigo ink…punch them out with the new coordinating punch! Add a few pearls to embellish and voila…you have yourself a beautiful card! Enjoy!
