Christmas Ornament ~ Monogrammed

Well I know Christmas is over but I really wanted to share this little gift idea with all of you!  With all of the after Christmas sales going on its the perfect time to pick up some of these glass ornaments at a really good price! This year I decided to put together some elegant little monogrammed ornaments for my family. Each of them received a set of 4 ornaments with the letter of their last name…this one happens to be for my parents. 🙂

They are a little tricky to put together but the end result is just gorgeous!  Start out with your favorite alphabet stamp set…for these ornaments I actually used the morning post alphabet set. Grab your versa mark, heat gun and a little container of heat & stick powder. Oh, and don’t forget to grab your favorite color glitter!  Start by inking up one of the alphabet letters with versa mark. Since you are stamping on a circular object you will have to carefully rock the stamp back and forth to get the image onto the ornament. I touched up the letter with my versa mark pen after I stamped it. Once the image is stamped in the versa mark, sprinkle the heat & stick powder over the image, tap off any excess and heat. Then sprinkle your favorite colored glitter over the top of the image and heat again. The glitter adheres perfectly to your project! Then just decorate and embellish to your liking! Enjoy!
