Treat Cup Christmas Ornament

I thought I would change up the posts a little bit and provide you with a cute little ornament project! I tend to use ornaments for a quick and easy last minute gift idea!

So here is how you make this cute little bugger.   Find your favorite designer paper and use the largest festive flurry framelit to cut out your snowflake. For this project I used the Seasons of Style Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Cut a 3 x 3 inch piece of glitter paper…punch a hole directly in the center of the paper using the 1 3/4 inch circle punch. Next, grab your 2 1/2 inch circle punch and punch around the previous circle (making sure that you keep the 1 3/4 inch hole in the center). You should end up with a glittery ring as shown in the picture. Set this aside.

Stamp your favorite Christmas image on a 3 x 3 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and then punch it out with the 2 1/2 inch circle punch. Add a bit of glitter to your image…I glittered up the antlers on this deer with dazzling details. Take one of the circle treat cups, peel off the adhesive and stick it directly over the image…you don’t even have to wait for the glitter to dry! Adhere the glitter ring, the one you punched out earlier, over the top of the treat cup. Secure to the snowflake. I used sticky strip to adhere everything together. Then just add some baker’s twine to the top of your snowflake to serve as the hanger for your ornament! Enjoy!
