Christmas Creation #11 sports a simple paper doily design! Love this design…and so did my mom as this is the card I sent to her for Christmas! And of course, she wanted to know where she could buy those strings of stars…lol. Unfortunately, we can’t buy them from Stampin’ Up! as they came in the November Paper Pumpkin kit…maybe if I keep talking about how much I love them, SU will add them to their product line. 🙂
So…to make this card, start with a piece of whisper white cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 4 1/2 x 4 inch piece of the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper (DSP) and secure it to the upper part of the card base. Stamp your favorite Christmas sentiment in real red ink on the lower right hand side of the card. I decided to run the string of stars in a circle around the center of the white paper doily…then I secure the doily to middle of the DSP. I added a little 7/8 scalloped circle to the middle of the doily along with a snowflake and a large rhinestone. Turned out simply beautiful!
