Paper Pumpkin ~ Christmas Creation #2

Yesterday I shared the original paper pumpkin kit creation with you (the NOEL card)!  So now I will start sharing the rest of the creations with you as I like to create lots of different things with my paper pumpkin kits!  The base of this particular card came from this months kit. The design reminds me a lot of one of the patterns in the Seasons of Style Designer Series Paper pack….so if you want to recreate this card, you will need to get some of that cute Christmas paper. 🙂 Of course you will also need some whisper white cardstock, real red and smoky slate ink.
As far as stamps, well I recommend the Special Season set from the holiday catalog and some of your favorite Christmas sentiments. Cut a piece of whisper white cardstock approximately 5 x 3 3/4 inches…snip each side of the top part of the cardstock to center so it looks like a tag or pennant (as shown in the pic).  These little tags came in the kit (which was wonderful!). 🙂 I stamped the tree image using smoky slate ink and then added the sentiment from the Paper Pumpkin kit to the bottom using real red ink.  The string of stars were my favorite item from the kit…I strung a few of them up the tree so it looked like garland!  You can achieve the garland effect simply by using some crystal effects and glitter….you could also add a few candy dots or brads as ornaments to add more color to the tree.  Enjoy!
