I have been busy playing around with the materials in this kit…and there are a bunch of materials! I put together the 10 piece place setting (pictured below)…oh and I still need to add all of my guests names. 🙂 Since I have a bunch of materials, I decided to decorate some candles for the table as well! These are the flameless candles just in case you are wondering!
I started with a piece of the birch tree paper and wrapped it around the candle securing it with Sticky Strip. Next, I took the roll of brown chevron paper (which comes in the kit) and wrapped it around the candle over the top of the birch paper. I tied a nice little bow in the center of the candle using the Summer Starfruit Satin Ribbon. I added a little naturals designer button to the center of the ribbon…tying it on with a bit of linen thread. The final touch for this candle was to add a few maple leaves. Using Chocolate Chip ink, I stamped 2 maple leaves over the top of some of the sweater weather designer paper, cut them out by hand and tucked them behind the bow and button. I used dimensional to adhere the leaves. Super simple and very attractive centerpieces!
