Truly Grateful Harvest

This week I will share a few “fall” themed cards as we will soon be entering November and the Thanksgiving Holiday!  And I have a lot to be thankful for this year especially a happy, healthy little grandson! So what better way to kick off fall and the Thanksgiving holiday than with a card that expresses what I am thankful for…

This card uses a variety of images from the Truly Grateful stamp set. I started out stamping the chevron background using the awesome new color, crushed curry. The little wheat image is stamped in chocolate chip with a little bakers twine bow added in the center. The gorgeous grunge splatter image is stamped in Tangerine Tango (a darker orange color).  I also added a 1 x 4 inch piece of the Sweater Weather designer paper embellished with a few candy dots just to add a bit more dimension and color to the card. Did you notice all of the colors I chose coordinate with the sweater weather designer paper? Well, they do. 🙂
