Love the layout and design of this card which was inspired by a swap I received at the 2013 Stampin’ Up! convention this past summer. I probably looks more complicated than it actually is! Let me tell ya how to make it…
Start with a piece of coastal cabana cardstock for the base of the card. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of whisper white cardstock and emboss it with your favorite design…I used the fancy fan folder! Next, cut out two different sized squares: 1 1/4 inches using whisper white cardstock and then 1 1/2 inches using coastal cabana cardstock. Cut out 4 of each color. Lay all four of the white pieces together, on your table, and form a large square with them…then remove the lower right square. Stamp the Regarding Dahlias flower (or any large image) over the three remaining square pieces. I used crushed curry ink to match my designer paper. Then, using a corner round punch, round 2 corners opposite from each other. Do the same with the rest of the square pieces (see picture). Add a bit of designer paper, some ruffled ribbon, butterflies and a few pearls to embellish your card a bit more. Enjoy!
