Zoo babies….Zoo babies!! My new favorite stamp set for designing baby cards! This set has the most adorable little animal images. It just makes you want to say “Awwwww.” 🙂 I put together this card for one of my classes this month! I decided to use neutral colors so the card could be used to celebrate the birth of a boy or a girl…but you can switch out the colors to pink or blue if you wanted to design it specifically for a boy or girl.
To make this card, start out with a piece of pistachio pudding cardstock for your base. I cut out 2 different size ovals with the oval framelits…one in white which I did the stamping on and one in baked brown sugar which I used as a “matte” behind the white piece. The pennant pieces are cut as follows: the yellow (so saffron) is cut at 5 1/4 x 3 inches and the designer paper is cut at 4 x 2 inches. I stamped the adorable little zoo babies on the white oval using so saffron and pistachio pudding ink. The “gift for baby” sentiment is stamped in baked brown sugar…I used the word window and modern label punches for the sentiment. So adorable!! Now I just need someone to have a baby so I can use this card! 🙂
