Well…it’s time to switch from holiday cards to all occasions cards for a bit! This week I want to share a few of my latest creations with all of you! I have been working on a few masculine themed cards…like this one! This card sports the “Rev up the fun” stamp images. Great set for the car or motorcycle enthusiast in your life!
To make this card, start with a piece of basic black cardstock for your base. Cut a 4 x 4 inch piece of real red cardstock diagonally, in half, to form 2 triangles and emboss the pieces with the chevron folder. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of sahara sand cardstock…lay the 2 triangular red pieces on top of the sahara sand cardstock so that it leaves the middle open….stamp the tire tread across the middle in between the two red pieces (as shown).
Cut a 3 x 1 1/2 inch piece of whisper white cardstock, a 3 1/4 x 1 3/4 inch piece of silver glimmer paper, and a 3 1/2 x 2 inch piece of basic black…these pieces are to stamp and frame out the motorcycle. Stamp the motorcycle in basic black and the dust/dirt image in sahara sand. Emboss the “Rev it up” image, in silver, on a piece of basic black cardstock and punch out the sentiment with the decorative label punch. Secure all pieces together. Sweet card! I hope you enjoy it!
