Halloween Treat Holder

I put together this simple little Halloween treat holder as a swap for our team meeting last night. The theme of the swap was “candy containers” and boy did I get a bunch of really cute ones in all different holiday themes!  I will post pics later. 🙂  To make this treat holder, simply start out with a  2 3/4 x 11 inch piece of basic black cardstock. Score the 11 inch side at 3 1/2, 4 and 8 inches. I cut a little bit off the “flap” of the treat box using one of the labels framelits….it gave it a fancier look! And…of course I had to do a bit of embossing…I embossed  the top half of the treat box with the chevron folder. Then I simply decorated the treat container with some of the witches brew designer paper, ribbon and a Halloween image.

For the inside, I cut down a cellophane bag and secured it with sticky tape. Then just fill it with your favorite treats!
