Halloween Hexagons

I have been having quite a bit of fun putting together some Halloween themed projects this month!  And…if you haven’t noticed, the colors in these projects are also the Challenge Colors for the month of October! Smart, hey? 🙂 

For this card, I wanted to design something with the hexagon punch!  The cute little “Hey Pumpkin” hexagon comes with a variety of holiday themed stamps in the Perfectly You hostess set!  Now you can only order the hostess sets when you earn hostess benefits so check out October’s hostess special as you could earn at least $65 in hostess benefits (free stuff) for a qualifying party!

To make this card, start with a piece of pumpkin pie cardstock for your base. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of very vanilla cardstock and randomly stamp some gorgeous grunge (the speckles) in black. Punch out 5 different Halloween hexagons using the Witch’s Brew designer paper (or any other paper you have on hand). Stamp the pumpkin hexagon using pumpkin pie ink and punch it out. Then I embellished the upper left hand corner with a 1 x 1 1/2 inch piece of designer paper, some ribbon and a cute clip!  And voila’…you have an adorable Halloween creation!
