As many of you know, I attended the Stampin’ Up! convention in July. I made over 200 cards to swap with other demonstrators at this event! One of the swaps I participated in was a Vintage WOW swap! And…it was well worth it as I came away with some gorgeous cards…like this monocromatic vintage card designed by Tina Petko!
To make this card you need some very vanilla cardstock and some crumb cake ink! You will cut out the base of your card to A2 size (which is the normal 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch card when folded). Then cut another piece of very vanilla cardstock to 5 1/4 x 4 inches and emboss it with your favorite embossing folder (we used the beautifully baroque folder for this card). The flowers are cut from the Bigz L Die called Fun Flowers. The die cuts out every piece that you need to put together this flower…we simply sponged a bit of crumb cake on the edges of the flowers and secured it together with an antique brad. Use your decorative label punch to add a sentiment to the card then just embellish with some crochet trim and pearls! Simple, yet very elegant!
