I received this beautiful wedding card swap at the 2013 Stampin’ Up! convention. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the designer so if this is yours please leave a comment below!
The image on the card is from the Just Married stamp set and was embossed in white on the black cardstock! I love the little pearl additions on the bottom of the cake! The card is very simple to re-create…all you need is half of a paper doily, some black and white cardstock, the beautiful organza ribbon, and some pearls. Start out with white cardstock for your base. Cut a piece of black cardstock to 5 1/4 x 4 inches and emboss with your favorite embossing folder! Add the paper doily to the bottom half of the black cardstock and run a piece of organza ribbon across it. The image is stamped on a 2 1/4 x 3 inch piece of black cardstock and matted with a 2 1/2 x 3 1/4 inch piece of white cardstock. The bow…well I haven’t figured out how to re-create it so we improvised, at my last class, and tied a different style bow to our cards. I actually have a wedding to attend at the end of the month so this will be a perfect card to give the happy couple-to-be!
