Beautifully Baroque

Have you seen the Beautifully Baroque stamp set?  Love it! This card was inspired by a swap I received in July at the 2013 Stampin’ Up! convention! I am really lovin’ the new colors this year:  Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Costal Cabana…just to name a few!

To make this card, simply start out with a piece of bermuda bay cardstock for the base of your card…cut to 5 1/4 x 8 1/2…score the 8 1/2 inch side at 4 1/4 and fold. Stamp the beautifully, baroque image in bermuda bay ink, on the left side of the card. By using the same color ink as the cardstock, it gives you a more subtle background image. Next, I added a 1 x 5 inch piece of Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon and Eastern Elegance Designer Paper…cut the end to form a pennant. The “amazing you” sentiment is from a hostess stamp set called Express Yourself! I stamped this sentiment on a scrap piece of costal cabana cardstock. Then…just embellish with rhinestones!
