As you may have noticed, I have a thing for washi tape lately! Washi tape is the latest craze in the crafting world! It is a great way to add a splash of color to your projects and works awesome for scrapbooking.
This particular card I received at the 2013 Stampin’ Up! convention back in July. The card was designed by Meg McAlister and really showcases a simple but adorable use of the Gingham Garden washi tape. I think what attracts me most to this card, besides the washi tape, is the use of the little heart punch over the top of the washi tape. By punching out a few heart shapes, it highlights the melon mambo cardstock used to frame out the card. Great little technique! Thanks for sharing with us Meg!
Hi Meg, thanks for sharing it with me! I was able to share it with my stampin' club several months ago! Very nice work and great design! Plus the ladies saved the little punched out hearts and decorated their envelopes with them 🙂
Just found this post, what a kind write up and sweet compliments. So glad you enjoyed the card.
