This past week I have been experimenting with a few different techniques! The first technique I want to share with you uses painter’s tape. Yep, painter’s tape! I had received a card at the Stampin’ Up! convention that showcased this technique so I decided to finally try it!
Each of the colored blotches on this card were made with painter’s tape. You simply tear off a piece of tape and lay the sticky side down on your ink pad. Press the tape into the ink to ensure that you have ink all over the tape. Then lift the tape off the ink pad and press it down across your project. I learned very quickly that you need to slowly remove the tape or you will tear your project! 🙂 You will need a new piece of tape for every color that you want to put on your project. It’s a simple little technique for adding random blotches of color to a project! Give it a try!
