Boy I really miss some of the retired stamps set…this is one set that I actually held onto. It’s called Dapper Dad and it was one of my favorite sets that came out in the spring catalog. I am always looking for stamp sets for designing more masculine cards and projects.
This is called an easel card…mainly because you score and cut a certain way in order to make the cover stand up like an easel. Yeah…I know…a video tutorial is in order! lol I believe all of the products I used on this card are now retired…but some of them you can still get off the Stampin’ Up! clearance rack so you might want to check that out!
This was another one of my entries for the Stampin’ Up! contest. The designer paper is called Parkers Patterns and was a great masculine style paper. Did you notice the little bottle caps? Once I crushed them in my big shot, they made great little embellishments for the watch and the sentiment on the bottom of the card. I have some of the DPS and a few of those bottle caps left so I just might make another one of these cards for my Dad. 🙂
