Here is the final card in my week long challenge! Super simple, yet very attractive. I designed this card after a swap I received from Melina Bischel at the Leadership convention this past January. Gosh, that seems like such a long time ago! This is one of the cards that actually sold me on the By The Tide stamp set. I had been holding off on purchasing it because I just wasn’t sure what to do with it. All it took was for me to see a couple of great cards and…I knew I had to have the set!
I started out with a piece of naturals white cardstock for the base of the card. I cut a 2 x 5 1/2 inch piece of sahara sand cardstock and sponged wild wassabi and marina mist on it. Once I had the sponging effect I wanted, I simply stamped various images from the By The Tide stamp set using black stazon ink. The sentiment is from the Trust God stamp set but you can use any sentiment you need to fit the occasion! The final touch to this card was just to add a few rhinestones.
