Oh Hello

For the past week or so I have been challenging myself to designs cards with 1 or 2 layers.  This is not an easy task for me…as I mentioned previously, I love to add layers to my projects! So as you can see….I ended up with more than 1 or 2 layers for this card!  I’m not doing so well with this challenge! 🙂

I wanted to use up the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (DSP) that I had which just recently retired…so I started with a 2 x 4 inch piece.  Using the dotted scallop ribbon punch, I added a bit of crumb cake trim to each side of the DSP.  The sentiment is from the “Oh Hello” stamp set which I stamped on whisper white cardstock and punched out with the 2 1/2 inch circle punch.  Of course I had to do a bit of paper piercing around the circle to embellish it a little.  And finally, I just had to add one of those little paper doilies to finish it off!  While the card doesn’t meet the specifications of my challenge, it is a very simple one to make!
