This was one of my favorite “Make n Takes” from our demonstrator get together last month! A big thank you to Lyssa Zwolanek for sharing this with us! Many of the vibrant colors on this card are brand NEW!! The color of the designer paper is Strawberry Slush and the blue color which serves as the card base, one of the scoops of ice cream and is used to stamp the sentiment is…costal cabana!
To make this card, simply cut out a piece of costal cabana cardstock to serve as the base of your card. Next, cut a piece of the strawberry slush designer paper to 5 1/4 x 4 inches….this is the backdrop to the card. Then just punch out a few shapes…a 2 1/2 inch circle with daffodil delight (or so saffron), a scalloped circle in white and then, of course, don’t forget the scoops of ice cream! Use a couple different colors for your scoops! The ice cream cone is simple a little triangle punch cut out of baked brown sugar cardstock. And last, but not least, we used the Remembering Your Birthday sentiment! You can also use dazzling details to add a bit of glitz to your ice cream cones! Fun and simple card to make! Enjoy!
