Label Love ~ New In Colors

This was one of my favorite swaps from last month…designed by my wonderful upline, Penni Litwiller!  She used all of the brand new 2013-2014 In Colors:  Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar and Pistachio Pudding!  Makes ya kinda hungry! 🙂
To make this card, start with Pistachio Pudding Cardstock for your base color. Cut a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of very vanilla cardstock…using baked brown sugar ink, stamp the World Treasures flowery image, in a random fashion, on the right side of the cardstock. Cut a piece of crisp cantaloupe cardstock approximately 5 x 2 inches and emboss it with the chevron embossing folder…this piece will serve as a focal point on the left side of your card.  Then….Penni added a big shot die…a peekaboo frame…cut out of baked brown sugar cardstock!  I thought it was such a clever little addition to the card!
Using the Label Love stamp set, simply stamp out a sentiment for inside the peekaboo frame and one of the artisan images for the outside!  And….you can use the artisan punch to cut out the images!  Love that! This card was embellished with four 7/8 inch scalloped circles scrunched together around a little brad (I know…you want a video on this, don’t ya?). 🙂  The card is simply stunning!  Thanks so much for sharing it with us Penni!

  1. I know…Penni did an awesome job! I was wondering if anyone would ask what was behind the door 🙂 It's a “happy birthday” sentiment from the Label Love stamp set!
