Ok…so I already shared one of my New Catalog Celebration party ideas with you the other day (the water bottle decorating idea)! So naturally, I had to also put together little treat bags for the ladies that attended my open house! These adorable little treat bags were just as easy to make (if not easier) than decorating up the water bottles!
I started with a 4 x4 inch piece of designer series paper (yes, I know I used retired paper…but remember…I haven’t received all my new papers yet…so I didn’t have enough new paper to make 20 of these)! HaHa! The green chevron designer paper fit nicely into the little clear envelopes! Next, I cut small strips of the new Gingham Garden designer paper (4 x 1 inches) and taped them on the front of the bags. Since I seem to love washi tape…I also added a few pieces here and there to accent the colors on the gingham garden paper. Then, I simply stamped “Just for You” (one of the Label Love sentiments) in Island Indigo ink and punched it out with the awesome little Artisan label punch! And…viola…we have a cute little treat bag! Now don’t forget to put your favorite cookie in it! 🙂
