Isn’t this just the cutest doggie bag you have seen? 🙂 I attended a local stamping event where we learned how to put these adorable little punch art bags together! I have 4 dogs…yep, I said 4! They are all little dogs…2 schnauzers, a shih tzu and a maltese! Good thing I have a fenced in yard…haha! Of course I had to break these bones in half so that each one of my dogs got one!
To make this little doggie bag, start by punching out a 2 1/2 inch circle with crumb cake cardstock…that will serve as the dog’s head. The dog’s ears are made with one of the petals from the Blossom Petals Builder punch. The muzzle of the dog is actually the ornament punch…with the top of the ornament cut off….very clever! The remainder of the dog’s facial features comes from the use of a few circle punches for the eyes and half of an oval for the nose. Once you have all of the pieces punched out, simply sponge a bit of early espresso ink onto the crumb cake pieces you punched out. The doggie head is then mounted to a piece of early espresso cardstock which we cut out on the big shot using the top note die! Find your favorite goodie bags, drop a few treats in them, and use the top note die (folded in half) to secure the bag! Cute and fun little project! Thank you to Mary Black for the idea!
