Tool Shed ~ Ink Pad Dragging Technique

I learned a new technique…that I absolutely LOVE, from the 2013-2014 Stampin’ Up! catalog (page 23).  It’s called the ink pad dragging technique and its soooo easy!  Gently drag your ink pad over a piece of cardstock in a random fashion. For this card I used a piece of whisper white cardstock cut to 5 x 3 3/4 inches. 


Using a couple of different colors…more mustard and old olive…I simply dragged the ink pads across the cardstock. This serves as your background! Using early espresso ink, I stamped a larger image…the tool shed stamp…over the top. Fun technique!
