So I have been spending a little bit of time coming up with a few l card designs that are not so overwhelming for some of the new ladies in my stampin’ group! Many of the cards that I make have multiple layers and steps which can sometimes be frustrating to the new stamper!
So, I decided to start my new little venture by making a few cards for my downline. They have been on fire this past month so I wanted to recognize them and their many achievements! I started out by using bashful blue for the base of my card…by the way, I am very sad to see this color retiring! 🙁 Next, I wanted to add a few different shapes and layers to give the card a bit of dimension. The colored designer paper is from the Tea for Two collection…one of my favorite! I also used the new edition paper which is a newspaper print and just tore the edges to give it a worn look. I added a bit of lacy tape and then put together my butterfly embellishment to finish it off. I actually used all scrap pieces of paper that I had lying around. The card turned out great and my team members loved it!
