I am absolutely loving the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit program! This month’s kit has some of my favorite “manly” colors…and I am always looking for more card ideas for men. The other day I shared the “original” card design that came with the April Paper Pumpkin kit…today I am sharing my own design as I tend to change up the cards in the kit just to give all of you ideas..well, and because I like to be different! 🙂
This card was inspired by one of my fellow demonstrators, Cristy B, as she put together one of her cards using the Open Sea stamp set. I thought that was such an awesome idea given the colors in this month’s kit! The Open Sea Stamp Set has a variety of “nautical” themed images and is one of my favorite stamp sets for designing cards for men. I stamped images from the set onto the light blue designer paper and the green tag…and, of course, the “seriously” sentiments came from this month’s kit! I thought it was a great way to change up the look of the card!
