Postage Due

Have you joined Pinterest yet?  If not, you are missing out on tons and tons of ideas…and not just crafting ideas!  Pinterest has something for everyone!  So why am I talking about Pinterest? Well, this card is CASED from Pinterest!  CASE means Copy And Share Everything!

At our last demonstrator meeting, we were challenged to CASE a project from pinterest.  I found this gorgeous card which uses one of my favorite techniques…heat embossing!  The card was designed by Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek, my second level upline…so I decided to CASE it since she is the one that gave us the challenge!  Haha!  But I also do think it is an absolutely gorgeous card.I love the river rock and baja breeze sponging over the white embossed image. And, as many of you may know, I am a huge vintage fan…so adding the little vintage style postage stamps was right up my alley!

So let me just talk a little bit about CASEing. Proper CASEing etiquette is simple: Make sure you always give the project designer credit for their work!  It is so disappointing when someone takes credit for a card or project that you designed….and that’s when people stop sharing ideas!  We should CASE like mad but be sure to give credit where credit is due!  Let’s keep the creativity flowing!  🙂
