Easter Bunny Treat Box

I have been busy preparing for my Easter Papercrafting class next week!  If you haven’t RSVP’d for this event, simply click on the events tab at the top of this page and register!  You won’t want to miss it!  Easter is such a wonderful holiday especially if you have little ones running around!  One of my faithful crafting friends sent me a picture of an easter bunny, similar to this one, and asked me to recreate it for our class! I am always up for a challenge! :)

I started with a 4 x 11 piece of whisper white cardstock and scored the 11″ side at 3 3/4“, 5 1/4” and 8 3/4” (see picture to the right). Then, I placed the smallest section (the section to the right of the 8 3/4″ score line) in the big shot and cut out a slightly rounded edge using one of the adorning accent edgelits. Once you have everything cut and scored, fold on all of the score lines and secure the two ends together with a piece of velcro…that way you can open and close the treat box. Please note…the sides of the box will be open so you can insert  a cellophane bag with treats!

To make the bunny, simply punch out:
– 4 white ovals using the 2 x 1 3/8″ punch
2 pink ovals with the scalloped oval punch
– 1 pink 3/4″ circle for the nose
– 2 white 3/4″ circle for the eyes
– 2 black 3/8″ circles for the pupils of the eyes
– 6 pink 3/8″ circles for the pads of the feet
Use linen thread for the wiskers
