This is one of my favorite masculine birthday cards which was designed by Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek, my second level upline! I shared this card during the birthday bash event I held over the weekend! It was a huge hit because of its uniqueness!
Wanna make this card? Well…you start with a regular sized card base 4 1/4 x 11 (scored at 5 1/2 on the 11″ side) cut out of very vanilla cardstock. To make the collar, cut down one inch into the center fold of the card base. Cut over about one inch towards the center from the fold and then make a matching cut on the opposite side of the card. Fold both cut strips down at an angle so that the points touch and adhere with a dimensional.
I put a little strip of cajun colored orchard harvest designer paper behind the collar and taped it to the top inside of the card to add contrast. The pocket is made from the small tag punch. The tie is made from Orchard Harvest designer paper. I actually made a cardboard template of how I wanted the tie to look and then traced the template onto my orchard harvest DSP. The top part of the tie is made from the small tag punch as well. Then just stamp and embellish! Fun card!!
