Thanks for being a friend ~ Easel Card

I received this adorable “Thank You” card the other day from a great friend of mine, Lori Brausen!  I love the Mixed Bunch stamp set and color combo on this card!  And…did you notice…it’s an easel card!! 🙂  One of my favorite card styles! To make an easel card you start out with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of cardstock. Score the 11″ side at 2 3/4″ and at 5 1/2″. Fold on the score lines and adhere the 2 3/4″ fold to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card front as shown.  Then you apply a cute little, raised sentiment such as the “friend to friend” to shown in the picture.  The raised sentiment or image serves as the “easel” holder for the card.  Cute cute!

I actually haven’t used the “Mixed Bunch” stamp set in awhile but this card has definitely given me the motivation to get out that set and start stamping!

What stamp sets do you own that you haven’t used in awhile?
