My daughter was looking through all of my scraps last week and came up with this great card design! I love how she used a variety of embossing folders…especially the holiday folder which serves as the background for this card! Yep, I said holiday folder! The designer paper is called spice cake which is retired now but was my fav at the time! I also really like the bunched up look of the ribbon. She randomly bunched up the ribbon and secured it to the card with glue dots….a simple but elegant technique. Unfortunately the majority of the products used on this card are retired. However, there are a few products used on this card that are still in the current catalog:
- Petite pairs stamp set
- Cardstock: Basic Gray, Bashful blue, Whisper White Crumb Cake and Soft Suede
- Delicate Designs Embossing Folders
- Pearls
I didn't know there was such a thing as a design gene! LOL! 🙂
Your daughter seems to have gotten the design gene from you! Great card!
