Awesome design from the 2013 Stampin’ Up! Leadership Convention! I never thought to use the large framelits to cut the base of a card….such an awesome idea! For this card, I took a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inch piece of card stock and folded it in the center (normal card size). Then, I placed the largest floral framelit on the folded card as shown below. When you run this through the big shot, it cuts out the beautiful floral design for your card base.
Using the same cutting concepts as I just described, I cut out a piece of Sycamore Street designer series paper with a slightly smaller floral framelit. This designer paper serves as the background for the card. Then, just decorate! Such a simple and very creative card design!
