Although it may seem like I am on a butterfly kick lately, I actually designed this journal back in the beginning of December for a mother-daughter workshop. We had such a great time creating these! Basically, we started with a composition notebook. You can pick up these notebooks at most dollar stores. We covered the front and back of the notebook with designer series paper (DSP). The great thing about Stampin’ Up!’s designer paper is that there are designs on both sides of the paper! I cut a 2 inch strip of the DSP for the left side of the journal and a larger piece for the right side. The sentiment used on this particular journal is from Stampin’ Up!’s Daring Adventure set. Once we stamped the image, we used the window framelits to cut out the fancy little design. Then we just decorated the journal with flowers and butterflies. Super simple project!

LOVE this! Such a cute notebook – much better than black and white speckle!
