This was the first card I designed with the Dapper Dad stamp set in the new caddy. I was so impressed with the card featured in the catalog that I decided to use the same type of techniques with the honeycomb embossing folder. Basically, I embossed the cardstock and the designer paper with the honeycomb embossing folder. The nice thing about embossing the designer paper is that the little honeycomb shapes popped right out so I only had minor trimming up to do before I secured them in a random fashion to the cardstock. And, of course, the Dapper Dad stamp set was used on the right side of this card. 🙂 I decided to embossing the face of the watch with gold embossing powder to really make it pop on the card. I will be swapping this card with my fellow demonstrators and the Leadership Convention which is less than 4 days away!
