A bit of "Wonderfall"

I had a blast putting together a variety of “fall” themed cards for my November classes!  This card was a bit tricky but turned out “wonderfall” haha. 🙂  For this design, I used the Wonderfall stamp set along with the Autumn Accents Bigz Die from the Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog.  The tricky part is that you have to cut out all of the leaf accents first, using the Bigz die.  Once you have the leaves cut out, then you stamp them with the images from the Wonderfall set….that is the tricky part because I have a wood mounted stamp set instead of clear mount.  Basically I inked up the stamp, laid it image up on the table and placed the matching cut out leaf on top…tapped in a little to make it stick and then flipped it over to stamp the image.  Like I said…it was tricky but it worked. 🙂

Supplies include:
Wonderfall and Petite Pairs Stamp Sets
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Cajun Craze and Soft Suede
Ink:  Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso

Scalloped Oval Punch
Large Oval Punch
Woodgrain Embossing Folder
Early Espresso Tulle

  1. I have a tip for making this a little easier. Put the cut shape on the inked stamp, then use a empty clear mount block to press the image down. Or you can fold the corner of the grid paper up onto the cut-out shape and run your brayer over it.
