Masked Thank You Card

This card was a huge hit as my last class!  Everyone loves to learn a new technique so I really try to incorporate that into my classes. For this card, I cut out one of the leaves from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die found in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog!  The leaf served as the “mask.”  I started by stamping En Francais on Very Vanilla cardstock using Cherry Cobbler ink. Next, I took the leaf and placed it on the top part of the card and sponged early espresso ink around it.  This is what gives the leaf impression on the card.  Of course I also had to play around with the new Core’dinations Card stock in the holiday catalog…this cardstock can be sanded to give it a more rustic or vintage look.  I really enjoyed putting this card together and sharing it with everyone.
