Orchard Harvest

For this card I wanted to try a new technique ~ heat embossing over designer series paper.  The Orchard Harvest designer series paper, in the Holiday Catalog, has some wonderful color schemes that I thought would be perfect for this technique. I started by stamping my image, from the Day of Gratitude set, in versa marker onto the designer series paper. I chose white embossing powder as I felt it really pulls out the colors in the designer series paper. Once this image was embossed, I cut it out by hand (unfortunately SU has not developed a punch for this image yet). 🙂  Then I embellished the card with the new crumb cake tulle, a button, ribbon and some linen thread.  This was a favorite with the ladies!
