Triple Layer French Foliage

This is one of my favorite designs…the triple layer card! And, of course I had to use one of my favorite stamp sets too ~ French Foliage. The most time consuming part of this card is cutting out all of the pieces that make up the triple layers (see the dimensions below). Once I cut out all of the cardstock, I started with the very vanilla pieces. I put a small dab of tape on the back of the 2″x 3 1/4″ and adhered it to the center of the 3″ x 4 1/4″ piece.  Then I took the 3″ x 4 1/4″ piece and adhered it to the 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of vanilla cardstock. Make sure that you are using a very small amount of tape so that you can pull apart the vanilla cardstock. After I randomly stamped my french foliage images on the layers of vanilla cardstock, I pulled them apart and mounted each of them to the corresponding soft suede cardstock and then secured these layers to the card base.  Make sure that you are lining up the layers with the stamped images. Once I secured all of the layers, then I just embellished the card with a bit of ribbon and a button slide. Fun fun!
