I have done a couple of cards now with the cute little “Make a Mitten” stamp set. This card was inspired by one of the cute pictures in the Stampin’ Up! holiday catalog. Plus…I wanted to design something using the 1/4″ sweater trim (which is the white trim that runs between each of the mittens on this card). The coordinating mitten punch is wonderful because I don’t have to cut the mittens out by hand… WAHOO! 🙂 The jagged edge on the riding hood red cardstock was achieved using the “Finishing Touches” edgelits in the annual Stampin’ Up! catalog. I also used the iridescent ice embossing powder for the snowflakes on this card and then dabbed a bit of bashful blue over the top. I have used this card at my stamp class last month and also as a swap for my demo meeting during the month of October.
I really like the mitten set! I've had lots of fun!
